Search Console Fix Kit

A narrow product idea for turning recurring indexing, sitemap, and verification issues into a clear repair checklist.

Jun 22, 2026

Thesis

Small site owners often discover search problems only after Google Search Console reports a vague sitemap, indexing, or ownership issue. The fix is usually small, but the diagnosis crosses DNS, robots, sitemap, canonical URLs, redirects, and build output.

That makes the product shape narrow enough for one person: accept a domain, inspect public signals, and return a short repair plan.

Signal

The repeated signal is not advanced SEO. It is basic setup drift: sitemap paths change, robots rules get copied from templates, verification files disappear after a rebuild, and localized pages are not linked consistently.

Product Shape

Start with a static analyzer.

  1. Check robots.txt, sitemap URLs, canonical links, redirects, status codes, and hreflang alternates.
  2. Highlight the exact page or file that breaks the chain.
  3. Generate a small checklist for the site owner.
  4. Offer a recurring check for sites that publish often.

Risk

This should not pretend to replace SEO strategy. The value is operational clarity: find the broken file, explain the likely cause, and show the smallest safe fix.

Next Validation Step

Collect ten public examples of sitemap or indexing warnings, reproduce them locally, and turn the fixes into one sample report.
